DAT Detailed Description of Resources
1) 40+ hours of online lectures (Value $300; rates vary by providers)
ACE has had its top lecturers from the past several years record their lectures for students to view as part of the online course. The lectures are updated each year to reflect changes in the DAT. These lectures can be viewed at any time, can be paused, resumed, fast forwarded and replayed at your convenience. These lectures are interactive and are to be viewed while working through the ACE workbook. The format for the lectures is identical to what Sal Khan (whose online lectures have received Bill Gates' endorsement) uses in his Khan Academy lectures (www.khanacademy.org). The lectures offer a complete review of everything you need to know for every section of the DAT. You will receive multiple lectures in Biology, Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Reading Comprehension, Perceptual Ability, and Quantitative Reasoning. Each lecture includes practice questions and practice working through real DAT questions with the lecturer. You will receive one full year of access to these lectures with the opportunity to extend your membership on a month by month basis for free for up to 3 additional months making 15 months of total access.
2) Kaplan DAT Textbook (Value $80; www.amazon.com)
A textbook is an essential component of your DAT preparation. We provide our students with the Kaplan text and it is included with your registration. After years of preparing students for the DAT, it is clear that this is the best textbook available. There are assigned readings in the text that correspond with each lecture (see above). Next to taking practice tests, a thorough study of the textbook is a vital part of the ACE study regimen.
3) DAT Destroyer Question Book (Value $150; www.orgoman.com)
No matter how you decide to prepare for the DAT, taking high quality practice test questions needs to be a major focus of your studying. You will receive the DAT Destroyer question book and will need to work through the book in its entirety. You will have a certain number of test questions to do each day with a goal to retake questions in your weaker subject areas.

Top Score Pro provides an additional source of practice test questions. These are 3 full length tests in the computer format. These are excellent preparation to be able to experience the test in its actual format and length.

ACE provides additional full length tests for you to be able to gain additional test taking experience.
7) ACE DAT Lecture Workbook (Value $25)
The ACE Workbook is used while viewing lectures online. It contains practice problems and tutorials that make the lectures interactive and a high-quality learning experience.
